Madonna arrived, guarded by the military police, in Fasano Hotel (Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro) around 11am today.
Jesus Luz was also spotted at the same hotel.
Madonna was invited by Rio’s Governor Sérgio Cabral to see the Carnival.
She will also meet José Serra (Governor of Sao Paulo) on Wednesday.

Madonna received a donation of $1 Million from Brazilian brewery. The check was delivered on Friday (February 12) by the president of AmBev, Joao Castro Neves.
The funds will support the start of Madonna’s charity organization ‘Success For Kids’ in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for March this year.
